Not every review on here is a rave, and this is one of them. Japanese-label drugstore hair care has a cult following, so I gave the Lux EX Hair Supplement Moisturizer a try. My honest verdict: I wouldn’t repurchase it.
The quick verdict
| What it is | A rinse-out treatment for rough, dry hair |
| Would I buy it again? | No |
What is it?
It’s a rinse-out hair treatment in a pump bottle. The label calls it a “Suppli Treatment for rough & dry hair”, and it’s part of Lux’s EX Hair Supplement range. In Japanese hair care, “treatment” usually means what we’d call a conditioner or a light hair mask: something you apply after shampooing and rinse out.
Why I wouldn’t repurchase
It simply didn’t win me over enough to buy it again. Everyone’s hair is different, so it may still suit you, but it won’t be going back in my basket.
What I use instead
The hair product I do love is my shampoo: read my Schwarzkopf moisture shampoo review.
Is it worth it?
Not for me. If you’re curious about Japanese hair care you might still want to try it, but I’d put my money towards something else.
FAQ
Would you buy Lux EX Hair Supplement again?
No, it’s not one I’d repurchase.
