I don’t own this bag yet, but I love it. It’s the one I’m saving for, and in the spirit of buying slowly and intentionally, I want to share why it made my list. When I buy it, I’ll update this post with my real review.
The bag: the Coach Sierra Satchel in brown and black Signature canvas, with a dome shape, top handles and leather trim.
Why this bag
Simply put, it’s the it-girl bag. The classic Signature canvas, the dome shape and the top handles make it instantly recognisable, and I love it.
Why I’m waiting
Buying intentionally means giving a big purchase time. Here’s my rule: if I still want something after a few weeks, and I can picture exactly how I’ll wear it, it’s probably not an impulse buy.
What to check before you buy a Coach bag
- Boutique or outlet? Coach outlets often sell bags made for the outlet, so compare the details and the price with the boutique version.
- See it in person if you can. Colour and size can look different on screen.
- Check what fits. Bring your phone, purse and keys and try them in the bag.
- Buy from the official store or a trusted retailer so you know it’s genuine.
