PDRN is everywhere in K-beauty right now, and VT Cosmetics is one of the brands everyone’s talking about. I’ve been using the VT PDRN Glow Cream (50 ml) on my combination skin, and honestly? It’s amazing.

I’m on my second tube now, which says it all.

The quick verdict

What is PDRN?

PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide: fragments of DNA, often sourced from salmon, that have moved from clinics into everyday Korean skincare. You’ll see it in serums, essences, creams and toners, usually marketed for hydration and a smooth, glowy look. This one is a cream, and the tube describes it as “elasticity & wrinkle care”.

What it’s like to use

It’s not thick at all. It spreads easily and sinks in beautifully, so my skin feels hydrated rather than coated. That matters a lot in our weather, where a heavy cream can feel like a mask by lunchtime.

How I use it

I layer it under my makeup, and it doesn’t pill. On top, I wear a skin tint: my NYX Buttermelt. Everyone’s base is different, though, so if you use a heavier foundation, give it a minute to settle first and test it on a day at home.

What I noticed

My nose is where I get clogged pores, and this cream didn’t clog them. My skin stayed hydrated through the day, without the greasy feel I worry about with creams on combination skin.

What I love

  • No clogged pores, even on my nose.
  • A light texture that sinks in fast.
  • It layers well under a skin tint without pilling.
  • Hydration that lasts, without heaviness.

What I don’t love

Nothing major so far. The only caution is that pilling depends on what you put on top. It works with my skin tint, but it might behave differently under your foundation.

Is it worth it?

For combination skin that wants hydration without heaviness or clogged pores, yes. I love it, and I’ve already bought it twice.

FAQ

Does VT PDRN Glow Cream clog pores?

It didn’t clog mine, including on my nose, which is my problem area. Everyone’s skin is different, so patch test first if you’re breakout-prone.

Does it pill under makeup?

Not for me under a skin tint. If your base pills, use a little less cream and give it a minute to sink in before your foundation.
