The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is one of those products everyone seems to own, so I wanted to see if it lives up to the hype. My verdict: it’s a bit oily, but very hydrating, and overall it’s good.

What I love

The hydration. It’s very hydrating, and that’s exactly what you want from a lip mask.

What I don’t love

It’s a bit oily. If you don’t like a slick feeling on your lips, that’s worth knowing before you buy. It’s designed as a sleeping mask, so wearing it overnight means the oily feel matters less.

Is it worth it?

Yes. The slightly oily feel is a small trade-off for how hydrating it is.
