I have dry lips that love to peel. The Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm (mine is the shade Cherry, 15 g) honestly saved my lips. It isn’t perfect, though, so here’s the good and the not-so-good.
The quick verdict
| Best for | Dry, peeling lips |
| Watch out for | A runny texture that can get messy |
| Size | 15 g |
What it did for my lips
My lips are naturally dry and peel easily. This balm keeps the peeling away and keeps them soft.
What I don’t love
The consistency. It’s a bit too runny for me, which makes it messy to apply, and I’d prefer something thicker. If you like a firm balm that stays exactly where you put it, this might frustrate you.
What I love
- It stops my lips peeling
- Great for very dry lips
Is it worth it?
If you have dry, peeling lips, yes: it works. Just know the texture is on the runny side.
FAQ
Is Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm good for peeling lips?
For me, yes. It’s the reason my lips stopped peeling.
Is it sticky or messy?
It can be a little messy, because the texture is runny rather than thick.
